About Us
ASCENT is a project design, facilitation & evaluation consultancy that thrives on enabling clients to overcome their development challenges and realise their goals.
It was founded by Eileen Crowley (BA European Development Studies, MA Town & Country Planning) after twenty years of experience, working in local and regional government, as well as academia in Ireland, designing, winning and managing funding proposals for strategic research & development projects, across multiple EU funding programmes. Eileen has significant experience in designing, managing and evaluating projects and funding proposals. She is an experienced expert evaluator for the European Commission, specialising in sustainable regional & urban development & circular economy. She is a validated lead expert for the URBACT programme providing support to consortia in stakeholder engagement, co-creation methods & processes, action planning & implementation.
